Lenovo is celebrating, its line of ThinkPad computers is turning 25 and for this reason it is launching the ThinkPad 25 Anniversary Edition model.

Lenovo commemorates ThinkPad's 25th anniversary

This laptop remembers the first model released for this series, with a retro style, but with modern components (of course), below, we will tell you what its technical specifications are.

ThinkPad 25 Anniversary Edition Features

Starting with the original ThinkPad logo that has been placed on the side of this laptop. The screen is 14 inches FullHD (non-touch). It has an Intel Core i7 7500U processor accompanied by 16GB of RAM and a storage capacity of 512GB SSD. In the graphic part we see that it has a GeForce 940MX, modest but sufficient. Finally we must comment that it dispenses with any optical drive such as DVD, Blu-Ray or Floppy…

As we see, it does not have much to do with the ThinkPad 700 that was launched 25 years ago and was an impressive success for the company.

As this is an anniversary and limited edition, the distribution will be of few units. There are currently 625 units in Europe, but we do not know exactly in which countries it has been distributed, so it will be a collectors item.

Lenovo is aware of this value and that it is a limited edition, so its price will be 2379 euros, somewhat expensive for the components it has, but we already intuited that.
