The AMD Ryzen processors of the Raven Ridge series continue to gain a foothold in the market, this time it has been the manufacturer Lenovo who has updated their ThinkPad E485 and ThinkPad E585 computers, to new versions with the silicons of the Sunnyvale company.

The new versions of Lenovo ThinkPad E485 and ThinkPad E585 make the leap to Ryzen 3 2200U, Ryzen 5 2500U, and Ryzen 7 2700U processors, which respectively include the Vega 3, Vega 8, and Vega 10 graphics. These are low-power processors that offer a very balanced performance, both in the CPU and in the integrated graphics, in fact they have meant the greatest evolution in AMD APUs since the arrival of the Llano in 2011.

The rest of the Lenovo ThinkPad E485 and ThinkPad E585 features remain unchanged, among which we highlight their 14 and 15.6-inch screens respectively with resolutions ranging from 768p to 1080p. In all cases the screens come with a matte finish to avoid reflections and with thin bezels for a better aesthetic. Inside we can mount a maximum of 32 GB of RAM in two SO-DIMM slots, and a storage consisting of 512 GB SSD and 1 a 1 TB HDD.

Lenovo includes a 45 Wh battery that is capable of offering a range of up to 13 hours, making them ideal equipment for users who need to spend many hours away from the plugs. Dolby-certified speakers are also included, which is a sign of its good quality.
