Lenovo tab s8 with intel atom and android
Intel has been trying for a while to gain a foothold in the juicy market of smartphones and tablets, so far it has not done very well as it continues to be an ecosystem dominated by ARM with an iron hand, however Lenovo is going to launch the Market the first tablet with Intel processor and Android system.
The new Lenovo Tab S8 will feature an 8-inch screen with a generous 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution resulting in 283 ppi. It will be backed by the 1.86 GHz 64-bit Intel Atom Z3745 quad-core SoC with Intel Silvermont microarchitecture accompanied by 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, an 8 megapixel rear camera, 1.6 MP front camera and will be available a version with 4G LTE connectivity.
The new Lenovo Tab S8 will have a battery capable of offering up to 7 hours of autonomy and will have the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, waiting for it to receive Android L.
It will arrive for 199 euros, and we will be able to know it in detail today at the IFA 2014.
