LG will present the updated models of its popular line of monitors with Nano IPS technology during CES 2018, which will be held in Las Vegas. In response to customer feedback, LG added support for the DisplayHDR 600 standard with an even higher dynamic range of brightness and new connectivity options with full Thunderbolt 3 compatibility on its new 4K-5K monitors.

4K monitor with Nano IPS technology

LG will show this way, two new models with 4K resolution. The first of these is the 32-inch 32UK950 with 4K resolution. The other model is the 34WK95U, which comes with an ultra-wide screen with 5K resolution (5120 x 2160 pixels).

LG's Nano IPS technology applies manometric-sized particles to the display LED to absorb excess light wavelengths. This greatly enhances the intensity and purity of on-screen colors for a more accurate and realistic viewing experience. This LG monitor can display 98 percent of the DCI-P3 color spectrum, comparable to monitors used in professional cinema. Furthermore, it is supported by the DisplayHDR 600 standard for a true HDR experience.

The 34WK95U has a Thunderbolt 3 port, which enables transmission of 5K resolution images at 60Hz with a single cable. The Thunderbolt 3 interface is ideal for laptop users who want fast video, audio, and data transfers without the need for a separate AC adapter. Both models will also use G-Sync technology for video games.

LG, along with the most important manufacturers in the medium, will be present at CES 2018, which will be held from January 9.
