Samsung has announced this same day three new monitor models for 2019 in which the features and design stand out. The ultra-wide CRG9 monitor geared towards gaming equipment, the Space Monitor designed for modern work environments and the UR59C, a curved desktop monitor, but with native 4K resolution and ultra-slim design.

We start with what, in our opinion, is the most interesting of the three models, as it is a monitor of an image ratio never seen before, with a curved design and ideal for extreme gaming and recording setups.
This 32: 9 aspect ratio beast is basically two 27-inch 16: 9 QHD monitors in one. Imagine the width, something never seen before. Its screen is 49 inches and it can offer us a refresh rate of 120 Hz at a total dual QHD resolution of 5120 × 1440 pixels (HDR10) with 1800R curvature.
CRG9 offers a maximum brightness of 1, 000 nits along with a response time of 4 ms that will provide us with an ideal performance for games and professional video editing, in which latency and the refresh rate are critical aspects to take into account.. In addition, it has AMD Radeon Freesync technology to avoid the typical stuttering of monitors at high resolutions.
As connection interfaces this model offers an HDMI port, two display ports, a USB 3.0 connection and a headphone port. Without a doubt, one of the great beasts of this year to fully enjoy the games, although the price will be as beast as the monitor itself.

The second most interesting model for us is the UR59C, designed for content creators and offering us very high image quality. We could say that it is a monitor with a typical desktop design, although with the detail that it is curved.
It offers a 32-inch diagonal with UHD resolution at 3840 x 2160 pixels, and a contrast ratio of 2, 500: 1. Its curvature is 1500R, which in a model of these characteristics had not been seen to date.
They have an ultra slim design, with a thickness of only 6.7 mm and it is mounted on a metal V-type bracket. They do not give us details about the refresh rate or the response time, but the manufacturer remarks that it is for the user that work in the creation of content, videos, images, etc., so the image quality will be very good, and we can also use it for gaming.

The design of this monitor gives us the possibility of attaching it completely to the wall, without any type of curvature and with a frame similar to that of a painting. It has an arm with which we can attach the monitor directly to the edge of the desk.
But it is not only design, but also performance. We have two models, one 27-inch with QHD resolution of 2560 x 1080 pixels, and another 32-inch with 4K UHD resolution. The connectivity is also designed to offer us the best possible design, since all of them are located on the same support arm of the monitor, being a power port and an HDMI connector.
The manufacturer has not offered us more performance characteristics of this model, so we do not know if it will be suitable for gaming. The feeling is that it is a monitor made for normal users who put design before pure performance, so the price will be relatively affordable, or so we imagine.
And how much are they worth?
Well unfortunately the manufacturer has not given details in this regard. What we are sure of is that the first model will have a fairly high cost, although it is also the most impressive. And we could also be sure that the Space Monitor model will be the cheapest.
We also don't know when they will finally be released to the market, but the manufacturer clearly informs us that we will have more information about them at CES 2019, so we will be very pending these days. Samsung has released the candy, now it is time to go find it, basic marketing strategy to create expectation. Where do you think the prices of these monitors will be around?
