MIUI Marshmallow global beta ROM released. Xiaomi has announced the release of a new ROM of its MIUI 7 operating system with the particularity of being a global version for users outside of China and based on the latest version of Android.
New global MIUI Marshmallow ROM for the international market
The new global MIUI Marshmallow ROM is in beta and as its name suggests it is based on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is aimed at users outside of China so it will be available in multiple languages. This new global MIUI Marshmallow ROM is available only for Xiaomi Mi 3, Mi 4 and Mi Note smartphones.
This new ROM arrives with the numbering 6.3.17 and its installation instructions are here. As it is an international version, it allows you to use Google Play Services and the Play Store natively.
The changes and improvements of this new ROM affect the phone, the messages, the lock screen, the notification bar, the status bar, the Home screen, the backup application, the management of permissions, the file explorer, the cleaning app, security settings, and the My Cloud app.
