Linux mint 18 beta is available with mate and cinnamon

Good news for all the 'Minteros', the Linux Mint 18 beta is now available with the arrivals of the new versions of MATE and Cinammon. Linux Mint is a classic distro based on Ubuntu's work, this time Linux Mint 18 will be based on Ubuntu 16.04, the latest official version released by the Canonical team.

One of the managers of Linux Mint, Clement Lefevbre, had anticipated that the new beta version was going to be released these days and here it is, with the news of the MATE desktop environment and Cinnamon 3.0.4 along with all its bug fixes implicit.

Under this distribution of Linux Mint 18 Beta we can use the two desktop environments, MATE and Cinnamon, with a vital importance in loading speed. Clement Lefevbre promises that both environments load in just 2 seconds, although he did not specify with which team he achieved those phenomenal times.
