The Ryzen 3000 series of processors will be accompanied by new motherboards, which will try to take full advantage of all its features. These motherboards will use the AMD X570 chipset, which should be released in mid-2019.

ASRock already has several AMD X570 motherboards ready

ASUS already has several models listed for sale based on the X570 chipset, and ASRock will be the other major manufacturer that will also have its models ready to go with them.

Unlike the X470 and X370, the new X570 will be based on a chipset designed by AMD (not ASMedia), and likely manufactured at GlobalFoundries with a 14nm node. Mid-range “B550” models and lower chipset models could still come from ASMedia. Leading ASUS and ASRock motherboard manufacturers have released their first partial list of AMD X570 motherboard models.

What we know about ASRock is that they plan to launch the X570 Taichi model. ASRock's Taichi brand has earned a reputation among enthusiasts for its minimalist yet highly functional design and powerful feature set. This will be closely followed by the X570 Phantom Gaming X. We wouldn't be surprised if these two motherboards share the same PCB with cosmetic changes.

In the upper-mid-range segment, ASRock plans to launch the X570 Phantom Gaming 6 model. ASRock could greatly implement the 2.5 GbE LAN connection from the upper-mid range of its X570 line as a revolutionary feature. The other model is the X570 Phantom Gaming 4, which could be priced under $ 150. This is where the Phantom Gaming segment ends and the Extreme series begins. The X570 Extreme4 will be a mid-range ATX motherboard, followed by the X570 Pro4 and X570M Pro4.

There are still no official images of these motherboards, but we believe that it will not vary with the existing X470 models, at least visually.
