What we will not see at wwdc 2019
Table of contents:
We are just a few days away from Apple that kicks off the WWDC 2019 (Worldwide Developer Conference) and, as every year, there is a vast amalgam in the network that publishes that predict what we will see, or what users will see. we would like to see during the next big Apple event. However, the reality is different. So today we dedicate these lines to what we will not see next Monday.
WWDC 2019: no hardware
On some occasions the WWDC has served to present new Mac and iPad equipment. This is not going to happen this year. And of course, we will not see a new iPhone, scheduled for the month of autumn, although some rumors have ventured into an upcoming "iPhone SE" based on the design of the iPhone 8.
The launch of new iPads also seems unlikely, as the third-generation iPad Air was released last spring, while new Pro models arrived last fall. Too soon to be updated again, despite the fact that the company has occasionally updated devices in less than a year.
And although the new version of watchOS will occupy a relevant role on stage, users should not expect a new Apple Watch either. The “Series 5” model of the smart watch will not be released until next fall, coinciding with the launch of the new iPhone line.
Apple TV and HomePod ? While both could get some software enhancements to their operating systems, neither seems to be geared towards the WWDC 2019 audience, primarily made up of developers.
Finally, after the very recent update of the MacBook Pro, with faster CPUs and improved keyboards, it is evident that the developer conference will not be the space where we will see new models. The next updates would not arrive, at the earliest, until next October or November.
