The Logitech G513 Carbon keyboard has arrived perfectly packed in a very good quality cardboard box, it is a thick and hard cardboard, which ensures that it reaches its destination in perfect condition.

The box has the typical and colorful design of the Logitech G gaming products, and informs us of all the most outstanding features of this great keyboard.

Once we opened the box and we found the Logitech G513 Carbon perfectly accommodated by pieces of high-density foam so that nothing moves during transport. Next to the keyboard we find the following bundle:

Logitech G513 Carbon is a high-performance gaming keyboard that is built to full size, which means it includes the number pad on the right, this makes it an ideal keyboard for all users, including accountants who need to make use very intensive of this part.

This will allow us to connect a device to charge the battery or connect a peripheral to use it more comfortably. It is a detail that most keyboards no longer offer and it seems to us a great differentiating point.

Logitech G513 Carbon offers a wrist rest finished with memory foam (memory foam), which recovers quickly and completely from pressure, making each use as comfortable as the first. A layer of soft synthetic leather wraps the foam offering great comfort as well as a waterproof and sweat-resistant material that is easily cleaned.

Its media and lighting controls are at your fingertips for convenient use. You can use the FN key to control the volume, play and pause, mute, toggle game mode, change lighting effects, and many more features. This key allows you to assign extra functions to the keys through the software.

Many users criticize the tendency to excess RGB lighting in products that are not necessary. But the keyboard is one of the products that we always appreciate, especially in night situations. Logitech does not disappoint in this regard. It does not have three predefined profiles and a fourth that allows us to customize the entire keyboard to our liking.

It also allows us to create different profiles to use the keyboard in different situations. We have a total of 6 to cover all our needs.

Finally we have a section to keep track of the keystrokes we make while working or playing and the life time of our keyboard. Something quite common by the manufacturer.

Final words and conclusion about Logitech G513 Carbon

The Logitech G513 Carbon is one of Logitech's new flagships this year. It has a standard format and a design made of 5052 aluminum alloy, the incorporation of GX-Blu switches, very good lighting with RGB SPECTRUM technology and a palm rest in premium memory foam.

In Spain it will only be marketed at the moment in the version with GX-Blue switches. That as we have been able to verify during the analysis are the well-known Kaihl Blue Clicky switches. What does this all mean? That they are quite noisy switches and not suitable for users seeking maximum silence. Personally, I would have liked them to incorporate Cherry MX or Gateron switches that are of higher quality and offer better sensations.

Details like the software, the braided cabling, the memory-effect wrist rest and the USB HUB have enchanted us. The truth that after 10 days of use we have finished quite happy with the keyboard.

The Logitech G513 Carbon can currently be found in online stores for an amount of 185 euros. A somewhat high price and that is possibly your most important handicap when purchasing it.
