We had already commented in a previous article how it was possible to connect the Pro Controller of the Nintendo Switch to a PC via Bluetooth and now it is the turn of the Joy Con. The new official controller of the new Nintendo console can also be connected to a Windows, Mac and even Android computer.

Joy Con works on Windows, Mac and Android

The method to use these tiny controls on PC is quite simple, we will only have to synchronize it (or pair it) using a Bluetooth connection, which, being universal, can be connected to Windows, Mac and Android computers and devices.

Those that are left out are those devices with iOS, which use their own Bluetooth protocol, therefore, they are not compatible. Another of the details to take into account is that the infrared sensor of the right controller does not work since there are no official drivers and the adapter that makes the two controls work as one will not work either, at least until someone works on some controllers' unofficial ' because we doubt that Nintendo is encouraged to make one.

This is not the first time that the controls of a Nintendo console can be used totally or partially on a computer, it had already happened with the Wii Remote and the Wii U Pro control, which were recognized at the time as Nintendo RVL- CNT and Nintendo RVL-CNT-01 in the system.

On the other hand, some of the problems that arose with the synchronization of the Joy Con seem to have been solved with the patch of day 1 of the Nintendo Switch. The console is already available from Friday, in Spain at a price of 320 euros.
