Nvidia's GPU drivers are now ready for the RTX Super series of graphics cards, and with this release, Nvidia plans to offer its users a host of performance optimizations.
Latest Nvidia drivers boost performance in games like Metro Exodus, Strange Brigade, and The Division 2
At Metro Exodus, the latest Nvidia 431.36 controller is said to offer up to 31% more performance than its previous version, promising an average 14.6% improvement over its launch controller and 10.5% more than performance than its previous controller.
Strange Brigade players will also see a performance boost, with Nvidia promising a 7.7% boost, while The Division 2 players will see a 3.6% performance boost.
In addition to these performance optimizations, Nvidia will also see three new monitors receive official G-Sync Compatible accreditation. These recently validated models include the LG 34GL750, HP 25mx, and the HP Omen X 25f.
Nvidia seems to have focused on improving the optimization of its controllers, which have a 'bad reputation' of not evolving over time, contrary to what happens with competing Radeon controllers.
There are also a number of bug fixes with these latest drivers. Like for example, that the FPS counter appears in the menu and start of Windows 10, the problem of code 43 that occurred when installing the driver in Windows 10 May 2019 with Sandy Bridge CPUs and solutions of some graphic bugs in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
