New coffee lake processors go on sale in February

The Intel Coffee Lake platform was launched a few months ago, although in a very limited way with only four processors and the Z370 series motherboards. Intel is already preparing for the launch of the rest of the processors in this series along with the motherboards with chipset B360, H370 and H310.

The Core i5-8500 will be the most powerful of the new Coffee Lake processors that Intel will put on the market, it is a six-core and six-thread processing chip , with an estimated base frequency of 3 GHz. The Core i3-8300 will be a more modest model with only four cores and four processing threads at a frequency of 3.7 GHz.

In the low range we will have the new Pentium G5600, Pentium G5500 and Pentium G5400, all with a configuration of two cores and four processing threads at frequencies of 3.90, 3.80 and 3.70 GHz respectively. These processors will have a 4MB L3 cache for all of their cores.

Lastly we have the Celeron G4920 and Celeron G4900 that will have two cores and two threads at 3.2 GHz and 3.1 GHz respectively, along with a 2 MB L2 cache.
