Intel pentium “kaby lake” processors renamed pentium gold

Intel recently announced that the seventh generation of Intel Pentium Kaby Lake processors will be renamed Pentium Gold. This change affects the Intel Pentium G4560, G4620 and G4600 units. The Pentium 4560 model was considered one of the best cheap processors of 2017.

This new name change is surely inspired by the Xeon product range that has Bronze and Gold editions among its models.
