256gb ssd could drop below $ 70

SSD storage devices have become very popular for their excellent performance at the same time that their prices have decreased a lot since they hit the market. Despite their price reduction, they are still much more expensive than HDDs for every GB of storage capacity.

CK Chang, Apacer CEO, predicts that the price of 256GB SSDs will drop below $ 70 in the second half of this year at the same time that 120GB models will cost less than $ 40. A significant reduction in price since for approximately the current price of the 120 GB models we could get one with a 256 GB capacity.
