SSDs will extinguish hard drives in 2020 in Western Europe
While on laptops this makes a lot of sense, since you don't need a lot of storage, on PCs it's another story. Hard drives still continue to offer large storage capacity at a more affordable price than an SSD. Until prices are balanced, a hard drive as a storage medium remains a very good 'off-road' option.

Currently an SSD is being used as a system boot drive and also to speed up loading in games, in addition to interesting use in video editing, but it cannot fully replace a hard drive due to its costs, yet.
If the SSD drives continue to drop in price, in a few years, the extinction of hard drives on PC will be a reality. We will keep you informed.
