The Xbox One video game console will get keyboard and mouse support as soon as tomorrow, bringing the precision and responsiveness that PC gamers love to a modern console platform. This support lands tomorrow through an update, with native support planned for 15 titles.

Xbox One is updated tomorrow to offer the game with mouse and keyboard

Microsoft partnered with Razer to reinvent games on the couch, and Razer plans to unveil new Xbox gaming-oriented products at CES 2019. The Xbox One should be compatible with most USB keyboards and mice after the patch comes out tomorrow, as the functionality will be plug & play. A total of 15 titles plan to adopt keyboard and mouse controls, of which only eight games plan to offer this support on launch day.

In the future, seven more games will get keyboard and mouse support on Xbox One, including DayZ, Minion Master, Vigor, Warface, Wargroove, and Children of Morta. This list will undoubtedly grow over time, although, oddly, Microsoft has not updated any of its third-party titles to be keyboard and mouse compatible, although most of them are available on PC.

Most keyboards and mice will work on Microsoft's Xbox platform, including wireless models, although Razer products are likely to ship with additional features, such as addressable RGB lighting support. Keyboard and mouse support will not become a requirement for future Xbox games, its implementation will be optional for developers.

What do you think about the arrival of mouse and keyboard to Xbox One?
