Using NVIDIA's renowned GPU technology, Matrox is planning to design innovations that are powered by a custom built-in Quadro GPU to accelerate graphics-intensive video wall applications. These video walls are expected to be used both in commercial space and in critical environments that operate 24 hours a day.

Matrox is a leader in creating rich graphics video walls that make an immediate impact in the real world with customers. Scott Fitzpatrick, Vice President of Quadro Product Marketing at NVIDIA, explains how this company plans to take advantage of NVIDIA's exceptional performance, reliability and durability of video playback in the next generation.

These new single-slot graphics cards are based on Quadro GPUs built into the NVIDIA network and can power up to four 4K displays per card. At the same time, original equipment manufacturers, system integrators, and audiovisual system installers can take advantage of the combined power of multiple cards to control up to 16 displays from one system. HDCP is also supported for playback of protected content on the 'videowall'. Additionally, the robust and proven PowerDesk desktop management software provides users with a comprehensive set of advanced tools to easily customize multi-display settings.
