MediaTek Helio P70 is the new flagship processor of the Chinese firm for smartphones, a chip that aims quite high from what has been seen in AnTuTu where it reaches the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660.
MediaTek Helio P70 shows excellent overall performance on AnTuTu
MediaTek Helio P70 has been passed by AnTuTu leaving an overall score of 156, 906 points, which puts it above the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 which reaches 105576 points. It also manages to outperform the Samsung Exynos 7820 and the previous Chinese top of the range, the MediaTek Helio X30 although the latter is more powerful as far as GPU is concerned. This new processor is manufactured using the TSNC 12nm process and features a 4-core Cortex-A73 configuration alongside 4-core Cortex-A53 and Mali-G72 MP4 graphics. It also includes a Category 13 LTE modem.

The first terminals with the MediaTek Helio P70 could be unveiled at the WMC to be held next February in Barcelona. MediaTek will focus this year 2018 on the mid-range, since it is the one that concentrates the largest volume of sales, making it the most interesting on the market.
