Installation

To use Libreoffice in Ubuntu, we add the following PPA to our computer, using the terminal:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa: libreoffice / ppa

Then we download the package with the following line:

sudo apt-get update

And finally, we update Libreoffice to the latest available version with:

sudo apt-get install libreoffice

WPS Office

It is another suite of office applications for Ubuntu, with a presence in various distributions of Linux, iOS, Android and Windows. It is considered one of the best tools to improve the office experience in the Linux World. It is compatible with Microsoft Office, supports PPT, DOC, DOCX, XLS and XLSX, additionally, it also allows saving documents as PDF

Includes three tools:

Installation

We execute the following commands in the terminal:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa: kubuntu-ppa / backports

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install calligra
