Microsoft says most lumia smartphones will receive windows 10
After Microsoft has shown most of the new Windows 10 features, including DirectX 12, Spartan, Cortana and the new start menu, it has announced that most Lumia smarthones with Windows Phone 8.1 are going to be updated to Windows 10
Chris Weber, vice president of sales and marketing for Microsoft's mobile division, has announced that the company's goal is to bring Windows 10 to most Lumia devices currently running Windows Phone 8.1, which means that some models could be run out of the update and some might not get all the features.
Microsoft has mentioned that some of the latest Lumia, such as the Nokia Lumia 930, 735 or 435, will surely be updated to Windows 10 but it is not so clear that the terminals launched a couple of years ago will be updated, such as the Nokia Lumia 620 or 520.
