Microsoft enables hyper support
Table of contents:
Microsoft has decided to go one step further in its operating system by enabling Hyper-V support for ARM64 devices. We tell you inside.
For decades, Windows versions came in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. It's still the case today, but with the latest Build in Windows 10 Insider, Microsoft has enabled Hyper-V support for ARM64 devices. Next, we tell you all about this technology.
Hyper-V support for Windows 10
Will the Surface Pro X be behind this? It is an ARM64 device, so you will benefit from the Hyper-V support that Windows 10 will have. This technology is a native hypervisor of Windows that allows you to run other operating systems on Windows. In this sense, it is more optimal than a virtual machine, allowing a much better performance of that OS.
It would all have to do with the Insider Preview Build 19559, since Microsoft has enabled this support for Windows 10 Pro and Enterprise. In addition, it is important to mention that by adding more functionalities like this, Microsoft is expanding its entire OS to ARM64 devices, which would mean a wider adoption of PCs like Surface Pro X.
What do you think of this functionality? How do you think it will work?
