Microsoft recommends users not to manually update to windows 10 creators update

Microsoft has recently said that the best way to update to the Creators Update is through the Windows 10 automatic update system, so it would be best if users did not try to manually update to the new version of the operating system through tools. like Media Creation Tool or Windows Update Assistant.

According to Microsoft, the main reason for this recommendation is to avoid any problems that may arise with the different hardware configurations before offering the update to affected PCs through Windows Update.

In general, the Redmond company typically follows three steps when issues arise with the Creators Update:

1. Document the issue and offer tips on how to fix it on their forums. Add a fix to Windows or work with the hardware manufacturer to release a new driver. Prevent affected devices from receiving the Creators Update through Windows Update.

One of the problems cited by Microsoft has to do with some devices that have connectivity problems due to an incompatibility with Broadcom Bluetooth modules. Microsoft posted some tips to fix it on their forums, in addition to having prevented anyone with the same radio component from receiving the Creators Update through the Windows update system.

In case anyone does not remember, the Anniversary Update also had several problems in its first days of launch, such as blue screens of death due to some Kindle devices, non-functional webcams or a sudden crash that occurred during the use of the equipment.
