Monsterlabo reveals 'the first' chassis with passive cooling
Table of contents:
MonsterLabo exhibited at the Seasonic booth its chassis in compact format 'The First', which comes with a complete passive cooling system without fans.
MonsterLabo's The First can dissipate up to 200W of heat
Measuring 200 x 200 x 400 mm, the entire chassis weighs about 10 kg. It can house a mini ITX motherboard, a graphics card with a length of up to 270 mm, an ATX or SFX power supply, a 3.5-inch unit and three 2.5-inch units.
The enclosure features a high-performance cooling solution with no fan capable of dissipating up to 200W of heat. The radiator is shared between the processor and the graphics card. As we see the design is used vertically with great height, although it does not take up as much physical space to the sides.
Anyway, if we want, you can also place a 120 or 140 mm fan, which can increase the cooling capacity to 300 W. For connectivity, the first one has two USB 3.0 ports on the front panel. Holders of this chassis will be able to fully personalize the front panel with different painted, patterned skins and other surfaces such as glass, wood, copper or leather.
At the moment, we do not know when the 'The First' chassis will go on sale and at what price it will, but for those who like to have completely silent equipment, this may be an option to consider in the future.
