Riotoro has officially unveiled its Morpheus GTX100 convertible chassis, a PC chassis that can be dismantled and rebuilt to offer a compact cube shape or larger EATX tower design, making the case suitable for all types of upgrades.

This design seems to be suitable for those who plan to build a more modest PC, but who in the future want to update it with better parts, a larger motherboard, more powerful graphics cards, larger heatsinks or include radiators for liquid cooling., etc. With a tower-like design, the Morpheus could hold graphics cards up to 40cm in length.

Versatility is the adjective that best suits the Morpheus GTX100, but this convertible design has a few drawbacks, such as the lack of windowed side panels and the use of an external mesh frame. What should be checked is whether dust would not be a problem with this type of mesh chassis.

On the front panel we can see two USB 3.0 Type A ports and two USB Type C ports. The Morpheus also contains an integrated RGB control system, which is compatible with Riotoro's RGB PRISM series fans.

Oddly, this chassis only has enough room for an 80mm rear fan for exhaust, which the Morpheus could be limited to standard height PCIe cards. Extra wide graphics cards may not be compatible with this chassis. Riotoro does not have information on its product page that reveals how wide / tall PCIe cards can be when using this chassis.
