Riotoro is a brand that came onto the market about 3 years ago, and is gradually becoming known among users. Already on our website we were able to analyze products such as your CR1088 box or your Onyx source. Now, they delve into a very interesting box concept, the Morpheus.

Riotoro Morpheus: choose between half tower and mini tower

The biggest peculiarity of this box is that it can be used with two different heights, being able to go from a micro-ATX mini tower to an ATX semi-tower by just pulling up and adding a couple of support pieces. The height change is from 38.4cm to 44.4cm.

The concept in general looks very interesting, as it is intended to alternate between different PC configurations. Perhaps it is a bit limited, because a simple height adjustment of about 6 centimeters is not something that will change anyone's life , but it is certainly the beginning of something that could have a lot of potential.

Regarding the other notable features, we have a double camera design with a plate / CPU / GPU on one half and a source / storage on the other, in such a way that it can help when organizing the wiring. As you can see, the design is very modular and allows practically all parts to be removed from the box.

The design of the box is quite open and is literally full of holes, following a "mesh" aesthetic, but it also has dust filters on the front, side and top and an acrylic panel on the top. Regarding mounting possibilities, we can install ATX sources, up to 4 2.5 ″ HDD / SSDs and 2 3.52 HDDs, and include two 120mm front fans with red LEDs and 1 rear 80mm fan.

The recommended price of this box is about 190 dollars and it is already available in the market. Do you think this is a successful concept with a future?
