PowerColor is one of the assemblers that works exclusively with AMD hardware, the brand has shown the world the first images of what will be its most powerful new graphics card, the PowerColor Radeon RX Vega Red Devil.

PowerColor Radeon RX Vega Red Devil

PowerColor Radeon RX Vega Red Devil is based on a common design for the Vega 64 and Vega 54 models so at first glance there will be no difference as far as the PCB is concerned, a measure that saves costs compared to the development of two circuits different forms. On top of the PCB there is a huge heatsink formed by 2.5 expansion slots and with three 100mm fans that will be in charge of generating the air flow necessary to dissipate the enormous heat generated by the Vega 10 silicon. The cooling is completed with an aluminum plate that covers critical components such as MOSFETs.

As for the PCB, it is a variation of the AMD reference design where custom chokes have been included together with an IR6894 voltage rectifier, IR6211DirectFETs and phase benders IR3598. All this is powered by two 8-pin connectors that are responsible for supplying enough power. It features video outputs in the form of 3 x DisplayPort and 1 x HDMI.

PowerColor Radeon RX Vega Red Devil should hit the market soon in both Vega 64 and Vega 56 variants.
