AMD's Radeon Navi series of graphics cards will launch on July 7, launching the expected RX 5700 XT and Radeon RX 5700 in their reference models. However, AMD's partner manufacturers are planning to launch their own custom models, and one of them is PowerColor, who are anticipating the arrival of the Red Devil models.

PowerColor's Red Devil line returns for RX 5700

PowerColor has started promoting its upcoming RX 5700 XT Red Devil graphics cards, opening a contest for a "New PowerColor Red Devil" graphics card that "has not yet been announced." The contest is now available on the PowerColor website and is slated to end on July 17, ten days after the initial launch of AMD Navi.

The Red Devil series has been an important part of PowerColor's line of graphics cards for several years, offering shoppers 'beefy' cooling solutions, demonic iconography and some of the highest levels of performance the company can offer. Over time we will learn how well AMD's Navi / RDNA architecture copes when combined with Red Devil designs.

PowerColor's Red Devil series was absent when AMD released its Radeon VII graphics card, but it did play a leading role when RX VEGA 64 and 56 launched.

The PowerColor contest is available on the PowerColor website and also includes $ 30 of Steam codes as potential prizes.
