Msi 970a
The veteran AMD + platform from AMD receives a new model with the launch of the new MSI 970A-G43 motherboard. A unit that will allow users to assemble a system with very remarkable features with the inexpensive platform of the Sunnyvale firm.
The MSI 970A-G43 offers an AM3 + socket and an AMD 970+ chipset being compatible with AMD FX processors with a maximum TDP of 125W. The processor is powered by a simple 4 + 1 phase VRM so it is not the indicated board if you intend to overclock, this VRM takes power from a 24-pin ATX connector and an 8-pin EPS. Surrounding the socket we find four DDR3 DIMM slots that support a maximum of 32 GB 2133 MHz.
As for the graphics options, we came across two PCI-Express 2.0 x16 ports, one of them with x4 electrical operation. We continue with the presence of two PCI ports, two PCI-Express 2.0 x1, six SATA III 6 GB / s ports, two USB 3.1, two USB 3.0, eight-channel Realtek ALC892 audio, gigabit Ethernet and UEFI BIOS.
