Msi announces its 970a gaming pro carbon motherboard

After showcasing the MSI X99A-SLI for the Intel Broadwell-E platform, the popular motherboard maker announces the equivalent offering for the AMD + socket-based AM3 FX platform, the MSI 970A Gaming Pro Carbon.

MSI 970A Gaming Pro Carbon: technical characteristics

The MSI 970A Gaming Pro Carbon is based on a 970 chipset alongside an SB950 to support AMD FX processors. This new board is built with a new PCB design and takes the necessary energy for its operation through a 24-pin ATX connector and an 8-pin EPS, all at the service of a high-quality 8-phase VRM for great electrical stability. The most gaming fans will be able to build a high graphics performance system thanks to its two PCI-Express 2.0 x16 slots that allow CrossFire and SLI (x8 / x8) configurations.
