Msi updates its aegis and trident systems with coffee lake

MSI is one of the best manufacturers of pre-assembled desktops and has no intention of giving up anything to its rivals, so they have taken advantage of CES to announce that their best Trident and Aegis computers are upgrading to Intel Coffee Lake processors.

Several months have passed since the announcement of the Intel Coffee Lake processors so it was to be expected a movement like this, MSI has confirmed that new versions of the Trident 3 Arctic, Infinite X and Aegis Ti3 equipment are about to arrive on the market with the new Intel processors.

First, there is the MSI Trident 3 Arctic, a new very high-performance device that will be based on the use of the Core i7-8700 processor and GeForce GTX 1080 graphics, all in a size of only 71.83 mm × 346.25 mm × 232.47 mm and in an attractive white color. Inside it offers the possibility of mounting up to 32 GB of DDR4-2400 memory together with M.2 and 2.5-inch hard drives so that there is no lack of storage capacity. It is also updated to use the USB Type-C interface to be up to date. Includes a 330W power supply.

In second place is the MSI Infinite X, its best desktop computer that bets on a more powerful configuration based on the Core i7 8700K and the GeForce GTX 1080Ti, a very powerful hardwarwe in a tremendously compact equipment with measurements of 488 mm × 210 mm × 450 mm. In this case we find two M.2 ports next to a 2.5-inch bay and four slots for DDR4 memory, so we can mount up to 64 GB in dual channel. Includes a 550W power supply.

In last place is the MSI Aegis Ti3 that also bets on the Core i7 8700K and the GeForce GTX 1080Ti, its characteristics are completed by a 550W power supply, a maximum of 256 GB of RAID NVMe storage and a 3 TB mechanical disk so you can install all your games without problems.
