Msi adds usb 3.1 to its x99s boards and converts them to x99a
The prestigious manufacturer MSI plans to refresh its LGA 2011-3 socket motherboards with the addition of USB 3.1 connectivity.
The new motherboards of the MSI X99A series are the “old” X99S to which the USB 3.1 interface has been added with a transfer rate of 10 Gb / s. One of the confirmed models is the MSI X99A Gaming ACK which offers two USB 3.1 connectors via the ASMedia ASM1352R controller and 100% backward compatible with USB 3.0 and USB 2.0.
