The laptop arrives in a large cardboard box and on its cover we can see a picture of the laptop in full color.

The MSI GT83VR is a very large and heavy model incorporating an 18.2-inch screen and a Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution . The screen is made of a 16: 9 IPS panel that although it does not have a better response time than a TN or VA panel for games but it is really fast and it looks great from each angle.

By incorporating the hardware that incorporates its design it is quite thick and it is a team that can be moved but you will need to go to the gym to move with it with its 5.5 kg;).

As for the processor we find an i7 6920HQ socket FCBGA 1440 socket , with 4 cores and 8 threads based on the Skylake architecture at a frequency of 2.8GHz and a turbo frequency of 3.8 GHz with 8MB of L3 cache. Regarding consumption, it has a 45W TDP, which can drop to 35W.

In RAM memory they have opted for a 64 GB kit in dual channel, a very generous amount to go over several years and that few teams have come to see installed. They are DDR4L (1.2V) modules as Skylake requires for greater energy efficiency and superb performance.

About storage MSI has opted for two M2 drives in RAID to achieve higher write and read frequencies of 1000 MB / s. Test of performance

The MSI GT83VR is without a doubt the most powerful laptop in the world. Although its design is fine enough to carry high-end hardware, it can be seen that its thickness is not designed for light transport.
