Msi gtx 1660 super: a look at the gaming x and ventus xs versions

On the graphics card front, we still have a fierce battle between Nvidia and AMD . Despite the fact that this first one has dominated for some years, we can say that the red team has recovered a lot. However, Nvidia will not let itself go, which is why it will take out the msi GTX 1660 SUPER Gaming X and Ventus XS , two graphics with good power and efficiency.

Currently, the graphics card market is a bit choppy. Although the top of the range is still from Nvidia (the RTX 2080 Ti) , the mid-range group has received new competition.

These two models stand out for being the top of the range and the most standard version of this model, respectively. However, there will be no big difference between these two models apart from slightly higher frequencies and obviously the price.

Both have a rear metal plate that improves design and passive cooling and 4 video connections (3 DisplayPorts and 1 HDMI) . Regarding power, you will only need 1x8pin of power, with which you will feed dual fans.

Only the msi GTX 1660 SUPER Gaming X will have RGB lighting , but both will have the same core numbers (1408 CUDA cores) and 6GB GDDR6.
