Msi launches the z390i mini motherboard

Mini-ITX type motherboards have never been the mainstream within the industry, but in recent years they have experienced increasing popularity. The appeal, of course, is trying to create the most powerful system possible within a chassis that is small enough to be easily portable and non-intrusive in desktop space. MSI is launching the Z390I Mini-ITX today, using the latest Intel chipset for Intel Core.

Finding a motherboard that can offer everything you need (while still being the right size) is certainly hard right now, but MSI with its Z390I Mini-ITX wants to answer those claims.

The board has the Intel 1151 v.2 socket. This is the architecture for the latest Intel i9 processors. It is also said, through an ithome report, that it supports DDR4-4800 XMP OC memories. This is fairly fast RAM for such a small motherboard design. With all this on offer, the motherboard seems to fit perfectly into the mini-ITX range with a size of 17 square cm in dimensions.

How much does the MSI Z390I Mini-ITX cost?

The motherboard is now available and priced at £ 160-180 in the UK. It certainly does not seem to be cheap, but it is understood by what it offers in a small format. For those who have in mind to create a high performance mini-ITX based equipment, this motherboard will provide an interesting option.
