Msi shows the z170 krait gaming motherboard
MSI has shown a picture of its upcoming Z170 Krait Gaming motherboard with LGA 1151 socket for impending Skylake processors.
The MSI Z170 Krait Gaming is equipped with an 8-phase VRM power supply that draws power from a 24-pin ATX connector and a 6-pin EPS connector. Surrounding the socket we see four DDR4 DIMM slots that support a maximum of 64 GB of DDR4 memory in dual chanel configuration.
As for the graphics configuration, we can mount a maximum of 2 graphics cards in its two PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots for excellent performance in video games. Other features include a PCI-Express 3.0 x16 port with x4 electrical operation, three PCI-Express 3.0 x1 ports, one PCI port, six SATA III 6 Gb / s ports, one SATA-Express 16 Gb / s, one M slot..2, Gigabit Ethernet Killer E2205 connectivity, AudioBoost 3 and video outputs in the form of HDMI, DVI and DisplayPort.
It is expected to arrive in early August.
