Msi may not launch gtx 970 and 980 lightning
Apparently MSI considers the Twin Frozr V heatsink to be more than enough for the Maxwell-based GeForce GTX 980 and 970 so it would not release such cards in its acclaimed Lightning version.
Hopefully, nvidia will launch a future GeForce GTX 980Ti that would be based on the top-of-the-range chip with Maxwell architecture, the GM210 or also called GM200. MSI is reserving its acclaimed TriFrozr (Lightning) heatsink for cards based on this chip.
