Msi if I would launch a gtx 980ti lightning

Anonim

Yesterday we told you that MSI could not launch the Nvidia GTX 980 and 970 in its Lightning version because the Gaming series is enough to get the whole game out of the GM204 chip, now we get information saying that if they will launch a GTX 980Ti Lightning.

Apparently MSI does not want to repeat the situation that it experienced with the GTX 780 Lightning that took time to reach the market and shortly after doing so Nvidia launched the GTX 780Ti truncating MSI's plans with its top-of-the-range card.

So they will not launch a GTX980 Lightning but rather they will wait to directly launch the alleged GTX 980Ti Lightning that would allegedly mount the GM210 chip, the successor to the Kepler-based GK110.

Recall that the MSI Lightning series is characterized by the use of its acclaimed TriFrozr heatsink and the GPU Reactor that improves the power of the GPU increasing its chances of overclocking.

Of course we will keep you informed on the subject.
