Earlier this year 2018, the new MSI Trident X was announced, a very compact desktop with an eighth-generation Intel processor and an Nvidia GTX 1080 graphics card to offer the best performance in the most demanding games.

Now a new version has been announced that goes even further. The new model aims to offer a similar size compared to previous models, but it does have some notable changes to the overall design. While the previous iteration had harsh lines and cuts, the new model looks much sleeker but still includes ports and connections on the front for added comfort.

Those who want something a little more elegant will have the option of exchanging the metal side panel for a glass one at no additional cost. The glass panel will be mounted with a hinge, which will allow users to easily access the insides to update the equipment.

MSI's advanced Silent Storm Cooling 3 cooling system covers each active zone, CPU, GPU and PSU, and has separate air inlets and outlets for each zone to keep them cool during the most demanding use. Cooling has enabled the recently announced powerful 8-core 16-core Intel Core i9-9900K processor to be integrated alongside the advanced Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti graphics card.

The new MSI Trident X becomes a very compact team, but it is capable of offering the best of Intel and Nvidia for a unique experience. We are already looking forward to having it in our test bench to tell you about our experience. It arrives in November for a price of 2300 euros.
