Netflix is preparing a redesign of its subscription plans

Netflix reportedly plans to launch a new subscription level while applying a "cut" to its current Premium plan.
Netflix continues to update its options
Netflix currently offers three subscription plans to users ranging from € 7.99 for the Basic plan to € 13.99 for the Premium plan. However, this could change soon.
Current Netflix subscription plans
According to the Italian blog Tutto Android, Netflix is planning to launch a new "Ultra" level that will be priced at € 16.99. The characteristics of this new plan show that, in essence, it is the current "Premium" level.
As you can see in the image below, launching the Ultra plan would seemingly halve the number of simultaneous displays from four to two for Premium subscribers. The Ultra tier would offer four simultaneous displays at a higher price than today. In addition, the Standard level would also cut simultaneous displays in half, from two to one.
Given this scenario, rumored a few months ago, it seems logical to conclude that, although technically it is a “readjustment”, for current premium subscribers this rating would be nothing more than an euphemism since, in practice, it will imply a price increase. To maintain the current conditions, they must go from the Premium level to the Ultra level, paying more to obtain the same service.
It would not be the first time that Netflix increases the prices of its plans. Last October, the company raised the Standard and Premium plans by one and two euros respectively (keeping the basic plan intact). On the other hand, given the enormous amount of content offered, and the high investment that the company makes each year (more than 6, 000 million dollars in 2018), it seems reasonable that it tries to adjust rates that, maintaining shared accounts, continue to be enormously advantageous.
