We open the box and we see a black cardboard box inside which are all the accessories, we find a cloth bag to store the mouse, a spare Teflon surf set, a sticker, a folding poster and a card to hang it from the gate of our battlefield and do not disturb us during our games, that in case it works?

A high DPI value allows us to make a great tour with a very small movement of the mouse so it will be especially suitable for multi-monitor configurations. In contrast, low DPI values will be ideal in games where high precision of movement is required.

Newskill makes advanced software available to users to get the most out of Newskill Renshi Guang, the mouse can be used without installing it, but we will be wasting much of its features so it is highly recommended that we install it. To download the application we just have to go to the support section of the Newskill website and search for the Renshi Guang. Once your installation is downloaded it cannot be easier since we will only have to click on next all the time.

Once we open the application we see that we can manage up to four different usage profiles, this will be great for us to have the mouse always ready to get the most out of it in many different scenarios. We can also associate profiles with games and applications so that they load automatically when they are opened.

The first section of the software allows us to manage the six programmable buttons, it also allows us to assign functions to the movement of the wheel in its two directions, so we have a total of eight programmable actions, a fairly high number for what we are used to seeing. The configuration possibilities are many since we can assign functions as varied as macros, multimedia functions, keyboard shortcuts, changing the DPI mode, shooting function, double click, triple click and many more.

It is time to make a final assessment of the Newskill Renshi Guang mouse, we are dealing with an excellent quality optical mouse that is highly recommended for all users and not just gamers. The quality and accuracy of its sensor go far beyond about 16, 000 DPI which is more of a marketing tool than something really useful, even in multi-monitor setups I doubt that someone needs more than 3000-4000 DPI in most cases.

The design of the mouse is very solid with a body that looks robust and buttons that are also very firm and that show great quality, the use of Omron mechanisms in its main buttons ensures that we will have a mouse for years since these mechanisms hold more 20 million keystrokes, it is certainly a mouse made to last. The design is ergonomic and has been primarily intended for palm grip, it is not a large mouse so users with large hands may not be entirely comfortable with it and may be forced to a fingertip grip.

Finally we talk about the software that offers us excellent options when it comes to configuring its different buttons. In this sense, I think it can be said without mistake that it is one of the most possibilities. Sensor fit is also excellent with the ability to independently configure X and Y axes as well as acceleration and ultrapolling. The lighting section is surely the weakest with only a configurable light effect, breathing.
