Nintendo nes mini begins to be discontinued
Table of contents:
Nintendo has started to discontinue its NES Mini game console that was released late last year to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its first video game system, the original NES.
The NES Mini is about to disappear from stores
Nintendo is already making the latest shipments of the NES Mini to sellers which means that this great retro console will not be available to buy for a long time, something that will cause shortages and therefore a significant rise in prices at which we can find it.. This decision comes after the Japanese company has managed to send many more units than they had anticipated, which shows the tremendous success of this little gem. Nintendo has managed to ship a total of 1.5 million units of the NES Mini as of March 2017. There is a possibility that the Nes Mini will be relaunched for the summer although there is also interest in discontinuing it for potential the Nintendo Switch Online Strore, which contains most of the classics.
Throughout April, NOA territories will receive the latest shipments from the Nintendo Entertainment System - the NES Classic Edition system for this year.
We encourage anyone interested in obtaining this system to check availability with retail. We understand that it has been difficult for many consumers to find a system and for this we apologize. We have paid close attention to consumer feedback, and we greatly appreciate the incredible level of consumer interest and support for this product.
ES Classic Edition was not intended to be a long-term permanent product. However, due to high demand, we add additional shipments to our original plans.
