Nintendo Switch has an 'emergency' browser

It turns out that Nintendo Switch does have an Internet browser but that it is hidden within the system.

The browser that has been discovered since the last patch that was published before tomorrow's release brings with it the surprise of an Internet browser, but that seems to be designed for very limited cases.

The browser is designed for one reason only: to log on to the Internet at public access points. From The Verge site they have tested the Starbucks and Vox Media guest network. Logging into the Google Starbucks portal opens the web page as if viewed from a phone or laptop. From there, you can navigate the page with the touch screen.

You can enter our Facebook profile

The bad news is that you cannot enter a manual URL but you can enter Facebook, accessing User Settings to link the profile of the social network. You can browse the different Facebook profiles and even watch videos.

The browser can be used with the joystick and the pointer is represented by a blue dot. With the right joystick the pointer moves and with the right we can zoom in or out on the page.

Everything seems to be ready for the console to have a browser but Nintendo decided that it does not have it, at least from the beginning, surely to work more on it and improve it.
