The google pixel watch will not be launched this year

For months it has been rumored that Google works on its first smartwatch, which would come to the market with the name of Pixel Watch. It was assumed that it would be presented at the same event as the Pixel phones. A watch with which the Mountain View firm hoped to give a boost to its Wear OS. Although reality is somewhat different.

There will be no Pixel Watch this year

Since it seems that we will have to wait until this first Google smart watch reaches the market. At least it will not see the light in 2018, as several media already point out.

Google won't launch Pixel Watch

It is not well known what has happened to make this happen. Google may never have intended to launch the Pixel Watch to the market in 2018, but the company itself comments that this launch will not take place. Although at least it seems to confirm that this watch, or its concept, exist. This is the good part of the story.

Google has not given explanations, it has simply been said that they want to focus on introducing improvements to Wear OS this year. The new watch operating system was introduced at the beginning of the year and seeks to promote this type of model. And at the IFA 2018 its new design has been presented.

Further improvements to the watches are expected. But for now, the launch of the Pixel Watch is not on the horizon. About a possible release date nothing has been said. So it seems that we are going to have to wait long for it.
