Noctua announces new fans at computex

Noctua has been through Computex 2016 in Taipei to show some of its advances in refrigeration. The prestigious Austrian firm has shown new fans for heatsinks and PC cases.

Noctua presents new fans at Computex 2016

In total Noctua has presented 5 new fans of 50 mm, 60 mm, 70 mm, 80 mm, 120 mm and 20 mm at Computex 2016.

Noctua 120 mm

First of all we have a new prototype 120mm fan with a thickness of only 15mm which makes it very compact. This new fan includes a reinforced design for greater durability and has been designed to minimize the noise generated in its operation thanks to a new double ball bearing. Lastly it also includes rubber pads in the mounting holes to absorb vibrations and further reduce noise.

Noctua 200 mm

We continue with a new 200mm Noctua fan belonging to its A series. It is its largest prototype and is made of fiberglass to be 26% lighter than plastic, it also debuts a new impeller, a new engine, a new SSO2 bearing and a new design to generate greater air flow. thanks to a 33% bigger surface. It also includes rubber pads in the mounting holes to absorb vibrations and reduce noise.

Noctua 80mm, 70mm, 60mm and 50mm

We finish off the new Noctua fans with new 80mm, 70mm, 60mm and 50mm units also 15mm thick and with an included adapter to increase their thickness up to 20mm. These new fans inherit many features from the new A-Series 120mm model for great airflow and very quiet operation.
