Nokia lumia becomes microsoft lumia

After Microsoft's purchase of Nokia's mobile division it was only a matter of time before Redmond decided to take the step of removing the Nokia brand from Lumia smartphones to sell them under their own Microsoft brand.

Finally, Nokia France has announced on Facebook that its Nokia Lumia account will become Microsoft Lumia, so it seems that the process to delete the Nokia brand from the Lumia has already begun.

A change that seems necessary given the fact that Nokia is still alive as a company and as a brand, so it would be confusing for Microsoft to continue using the Nokia brand on its Lumia smartphones.
