The appearance of the iPhone in 2007 and with it, the proliferation of smartphones or smartphones, meant the end of the dominance of the Finnish Nokia in the mobile phone segment. However, the brand as such was not dead, and for a couple of years, in the hands of the HMD company, it has risen from its ashes.

It is not a dejavĂș, it is the Nokia 2010

Since its reappearance a couple of years ago, the mobile phone firm Nokia has been introducing not new devices as such, but the renewal or update of old devices now "adapted" to the new times as part of its Classics line.

The first to see the light was the iconic Nokia 3310. Who hasn't had one on their hands? An almost unbreakable phone; it hit, fell, bounced, and still worked. Of course, only to make calls, send text messages and play the also legendary game "Snake". More recently we saw the return of another classic, the Banana phone. And now we know that the next phone in the Classics line will be the Nokia Nokia 2010.

We find a phone that was lit more than two decades ago, when the first mobiles began to spread among the population. Announced in 1994, the revamped Nokia 2010 will be launched next year to mark the 25th anniversary of the first phone. Obviously, it will have a slightly updated design, 4G LTE connectivity, color screen, and other updates.

As reported exclusively by the Android Authority, it is expected to run the same operating system as the rest of the Classics range of phones, although it could also come with support for applications such as WhatsApp and Facebook through a new partnership between HMD and Facebook.. And regarding the name, beware, because it could end up being called Nokia A10, or something similar, and it will be launched in various colors, including red, yellow and black.
