For yet another year, Acer relied on Professional Review as an invited medium to the annual global event to learn about its new products.
Arrival and dinner with Iberian means
After arriving in New York the day before the event, the Spanish and Portuguese media would meet for dinner with Jaume Pausas, marketing manager of Acer Spain.
Unfortunately our plane was delayed and we arrived late at the hotel, where we prepared to bring the news of the event to the minute and upload photos and videos to the Professional Review website.

Already sitting on the stage, Acer CEO Jason Chen was showing us the new product ranges for this year, as well as his marketing campaigns.
With the leadership of all the Predator ranges in many gaming markets, the game-oriented products were updated to the new Intel and AMD Ryzen CPUs. Acer incorporates even the new and more powerful i9 and changes the designs of its equipment. Those looking for computers with an AMD GPU and CPU will be happy.
Outside of gaming, Acer laptops and tablets are updated again. Chromebooks return and start to scale the mid-range, and we met the Swift 5, a ultrabook of great performance and finishes.
They showed us their promotional campaigns, where we were surprised by a collaboration with the next installment of the Predator movie saga. Partners and clients of the brand also took the stage to explain how their business relationship is going.
After the event we were able to record and photograph the equipment, and at the end we interviewed Max Rossi, who told us very interesting things about Acer and the industry in general.
Dinner with all means and farewell
Who would have told us that we would chat with colleagues from other media at Carnegie Hall while we had dinner. On our way back we stopped by Times Square, and the next day we started touring the Big Apple.
A couple of days more they allowed us to go see a musical on Broadway, visit Chinatown, Brooklyn… and then back to Barcelona.
