Nova Launcher is probably the most used launcher today and today on Android. In celebration of its first 5 years, the definitive version of Nova Launcher 5.0 has been released.
Nova Launcher turns 5 years old
This application, available in the Google Play store, replaces the default Android home screen, improving its functionalities and allowing greater customization.
The developer TeslaCoil is celebrating for the first 5 years of the application's life and has wanted to celebrate it with version 5.0 of Nova Launcher, after having released different previous versions in beta state. Nova Launcher 5.0 now adapts to the latest version of Android 7.1.1 which is exclusive to Google Pixel phones (for now), adding some of its features so that they can be used in previous versions of Android.
New in Nova Launcher 5.0
- Now you can swipe to open the app box. New Pixel style search bar. New view for searches, with tabs for frequent, recent, new or updated applications. There is a screen lock method after some time of inactivity. New gesture with double tap on the screen and swipe. Quick accesses of the Android 7.1.1 applications. The background color of the applications dock also affects the navigation bar now. Added a welcome screen or 'Quick Start' when installing Nova Launcher for the first time.
Although the basic version of Nova Lauuncher is free, there is a paid Prime version (5.25 euros) that adds additional features.
