New update for cpus ryzen 3000 and amd statements

The multinational AMD has opened a new post in the community forum on its website. There they talk about the latest Ryzen 3000 CPU issues and introduce new updates for motherboards and processors. Among the most relevant problems we had problems with voltage, clock frequencies and Destiny 2 .

As we have advanced, the processors and motherboards dedicated to Ryzen 3000 have been experiencing problems. After several weeks of updates, AMD has spoken about it in its forum.

Ryzen 3000 CPUs receive updates for their motherboards

To start, they talk about the high clock frequencies and high voltages. This, they say, was because the processors were highly responsive to requests from benchmarking programs. These applications requested information on maximum performance of the components, which ended in abnormal behaviors.

With the new update for processors this should be addressed without affecting its performance or ability to respond to requests. The latest version is 1.07.29 and it adds other extra things like a better calibrated Balanced mode. You can download it at this same link.

On the other hand, some players of the popular Shooter MMO Destiny 2 were deprived of access to the game. Apparently, their motherboards generated instability that they eventually discovered were caused by problems in the micro-code.

Users with Ryzen 3000 processors patched their BIOS numerous times without clear results. However, according to AMD itself, this latest update should fix these issues.

As less relevant points, they talk about the upcoming AGESA 1003ABB and Ryzen Master . The next update is in development and will be released when manufacturers carefully check its stability and security. With it, they will try to completely annihilate the error “Event 17, WHEA-Logger” .
